I found this buried deep in the stone wall which was the boundary to the Parwich Creamery (which existed about 100 years ago). The stone wall was broken down and certainly hadn’t been touched in recent times. The item appears to me made of aluminium or tin and was metallic silver when first discovered but has now oxidised to an off white – presumably since it’s been in contact with the air. I wonder if it’s a plate off a milk churn? The pattern seems vaguely religious.
